Sign-in
| 1. Swipe your card through the card reader with the magnetic strip facing the left. | ||||||
| 2. Select which account and instrument to use in order to activate the microscope. The AUTORAMP red LED lamp light will come on. | ||||||
| 3. Check to make sure that the BEAM CURRENT is displayed in the window (that is, the value does not read 0.00 µA). | ||||||
| 4. Check that the OBJECTIVE and SELECTED AREA apertures are in the out position (both are fully counterclockwise). | ||||||
| 5. Check that the AIRLOCK is closed. | ||||||
